EMPOWERING VOICES,
EXPLORING WORLDVIEW 2021-2023
Working with a cohort of artists, schools, community development facilitators and representatives from a range of religions and faiths, the two-year project sees Lincoln Diocesan Board of Education offering participants the opportunity to explore and share how their lived experiences relate to a wider national context.
The project is working in six locations across England – Lincoln, London, Leicester, Scunthorpe, Aldershot and Bristol. A series of eight podcasts will be created, co-produced by each participating school and local community.
Working with a local school and representatives from a specific religion or faith group, the project sees students welcoming representatives to their school before visiting their place of worship, and participating in traditional celebrations and festivals.

THE PODCASTS
The eight podcasts will contain:

-
An original play informed and written collaboratively by students, the wider community and a writer.
-
Recorded conversations between students, community members, educational professionals and faith practitioners
-
An immersive soundscape that connects with the narratives and discussion.
